Unit 1: Beverage Gas System Safety

This unit provides the necessary knowledge to identify and address the occupational health and safety issues associated with beverage gas applications. Unit 2: Design of Beverage Gas Systems

This unit provides the necessary competency to design beverage gas systems which meet AS 5034, including practical workshops in manifolds, distribution systems, suitability of components and the safe location of systems. This competency will apply to the design of all aspects of beverage gas safety in the workplace.


Unit 3: Install, Test and Certify Beverage Gas Systems

This unit provides the necessary competency to design beverage gas systems which meet AS 5034, including practical workshops in manifolds, distribution systems, suitability of components and the safe location of systems. This competency will apply to the design of all aspects of beverage gas safety in the workplace.


Unit 4: Operate Beverage Gas Manifolds and Piping Systems

This unit provides the necessary knowledge to operate beverage gas systems in accordance with the relevant legislation and Australian Standards. This competency will apply to all aspects of operating beverage gas systems safely in the workplace.


Unit 5: Inspect and Maintain Beverage Gas Systems

This unit provides the necessary knowledge to inspect and maintain beverage gas systems in accordance with the relevant legislation and Australian Standards. This competency will apply to all operating beverage gas systems.
