Company Profile
Gas Safety Solutions Pty Limited (GSS) was incorporated on 14 December 2005 in response to the implementation of the Australian Standard AS 5034-2005 "Installation and Use of Inert Gases for Beverage Dispensing".
GSS provides all sectors of industry with practical fact based information to develop solutions to achieve compliance with AS 5034-2005 and other referenced standards, industry codes of practice and state and territory based legislation.
The Directors of the Company have worked continuously for the last thirty years in gas safety technology including explosive and asphyxiant gases and consultation and training in relation to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
The combination of knowledge and experience led to the development of the Nationally Recognised Training Course in Design, Installation, Use and Maintenance of Beverage Gas Systems - NTIS CODE: 91391. The course comprises five Units of Competency and is currently being delivered within the Hospitality sector and across other service and support organisations. It delivers competencies recognised by the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
To achieve recognition as a national training course, support for the course had to be obtained from key industry stakeholders such as Service Industries Skills Council Australia, The Australian Hotels Association (National Body) and the representatives of the Committee ME-002 that prepared the Australian Standard AS 5034:2005.
Gas Safety Solutions Pty Limited is a Registered Training Organisation and is currently delivering training to service providers of the hospitality sector and general industry.
